Sketch #4: Cross Country Skiing in Maine

There is a great cross country ski course at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester.
At the beginning of their trek through a network of woods trails,
skiers strike all kinds of interesting poses as they get ready. One can observe & sketch them
& take reference photos from a dining room picture window.
And I did!

  7. Oh -- you still have a lot of snow on the ground. Great for the skiers I imagine. Like how you captured the staging area of the skiers before they took off through yonder land. Nice! -- barbara

  8. Thank you Rita for all your encouraging comments on my recent posts. Some days the paint flows easily from my brushes, yet on other days it's as if I've forgotten the technics I've learned and I don't have the want in me to paint. At the moment my garden needs me, so I'm putting my energy into the plants and areas that suffered from my attention last year. It takes me a lot longer to do things that were easy for me. At least I'm listening to my body, and must try not to do too much in the day. I'm loving seeing your figure painting again . I remember some while back you writing that you had lost your way and needed to rethink what you wanted to achieve, Well I think your back in the place, producing some wonderful sketches full of life, I don't know if there is anything I could do at my end about my posts not showing in your readers list. I'm really not computer technical savvy. My eldest grandson sometimes helps me.
